Christmas Day BBQ with the Salvos

While loneliness on Christmas is heavily prevalent in Australia, it is even more so this year with international and domestic travel restricted. There’s nothing more Australian than a good ol’ Barbie to set things right! Marrickville Metro has partnered with the Salvation Army to provide a free breakfast barbeque at Marrickville Metro on Christmas morning to ensure no-one from the Inner West community goes without a special Christmas celebration this year.

It really is a great community event who is open to everyone who enjoys a happy, carb filled start to their morning.

25 December 8am – 10am
When: Friday 25th December 2020
Where: Outside Centre Management, 34 Victoria Road Marrickville

There are also loads of other fun festivities bound to stir those warm and fuzzy feelings including Santa photos and furry friends will be able to join the fun with dedicated pet photo sessions. Free workshops for kids and some cool recyclable life-sized sculptures scattered throughout the centre made by Tafe Enmore students in collaboration with Reverse Garbage.
