Over the Fence Comedy Short Film Festival is coming to Dendy Cinemas, Newtown on Friday 9 March at 6.30pm.
Over the Fence aims to celebrate new and independent filmmakers, their comic masterpieces and their excellent sense of humour. It is a festival committed to encouraging and stimulating comedy film production worldwide, and to producing a festival which celebrates, entertains and inspires through comedy.
This is a grassroots festival dedicated to championing the indie and new filmmakers – who are the starting point of a flourishing filmmaking industry. Over the Fence offers a refreshing challenge to people’s ideas of ‘what comedy is’, to give our audience a whole new experience of the way in which funny stories can be told through a the wide variety of filmmaking styles, genres, and, from all countries across the world!

In 2018 there are 15 films from around the world that are curious, cheeky and amazing, as they explore the peculiarities of being human… through the theme ‘The (Un) Making of Relationships.’
