Local entrepreneur goes to Russia
Leichhardt-based businesswoman, Elisa Limburg of marketing and events company Elevents, has been selected to represent Australia at the G20 Young Entrepreneurs’ Summit in Russia this June, along with 21 other young business people. Now in its fourth year, the G20 YEA brings together entrepreneurs from the G20 nations to discuss the issues facing young businesspeople in today’s world. Point raised at the summit will in turn be presented to world leaders during the G20 Leaders Summit. On being selected to attend the event, Elisa said, “Being part of the Australian delegation to the G20 YEA Summit is a real privilege and I’m excited to be given the opportunity to contribute to the discussion on improving and fostering entrepreneurship around the world.”

Shearer’s makes a move
Shearer’s Bookshop is moving from its usual location at 99 Norton Street to MarketPlace Leichhardt this month as Palace Cinemas prepares to get renovations underway. Shearer’s will be located on the same level as Target from now on and will be running an exciting competition from April 5th to May 3rd, where anyone who makes a purchase during this time goes into the draw to win a bookcase full of books!
