 Which is your favourite local art gallery, and why?

“I think the best commercial space around is Artereal Gallery in Rozelle because they show an interesting variety of artists and play with lots of different media, they also have a strong stable of artists.”

“I wandered into Higher Ground Studio during Art Month and they had some awesome street style art happening in there but unfortunately I don’t think it’s open to the public much.”

“The galleries in Newtown are generally pretty cool, At The Vanishing Point has a variety of exhibitions and they support emerging artists too, which is nice.”

“Not sure about the exhibition side of things but I’ve gone to a good adult art class at Art Est. Leichhardt. They are a little pricey – and I had to bring my own art supplies – but the classes are fun and you learn a lot.”
