The Workers Christmas Party

First up, The Workers in Balmain will be holding a party that promises plenty of “festive frivolities.” With cocktails, jelly shots and a bedtime of three in the morning, the music won’t even have to be great for you to enjoy this night.

Snapback vs. Snatch and Grab Xmas Bash

Next up is one for the ladies. The Newtown Hotel will be hosting a pretty large line-up. Made up mostly of DJ sets, so not really my scene, but this should be pretty epic for those so inclined. They promise cheap booze too, which is always a nice bonus.

Fri 20th December

Gay Paris and King Parrot

And last we have the hardcore. Both these Aussie bands love to thrash and are known for their intensely energetic live performances. King Parrot is real heavy rock; they’ll be at Soundwave next year, while Gay Paris is swamp rock/thrashabilly kind of jams. If you want your head blown off, don’t miss this.
