Last week the absolutely amazing and incomparable Sydney band Spirit Valley played their last gig here before relocating to Europe for at least the next few months. Their live shows are absolutely monster and it is shocking how rich and full a sound they can make with just the two of them.

Like mixing leather with lace, this pacing, hard-rock, five-headed beast of a band has a sound that is very much an acquired taste. The sheer
energy frontwoman Virginia Lillye puts in will make it a helluva night though.
