Kimmy Jewellery was established in 1987 and is still going strong after taking home the title of Best Jewellery Shop in the 2013 Local Business Awards.
Kim Trinh, you could say, was born to work in the jewellery industry. Her parents and uncles had already begun working with jewellery before she was born and she says “I guess it was inevitable for me to go down that pathway as well.”
As one of the winners in last year’s Inner West Local Business Awards, Kim remains humble, saying that “being a finalist already makes us feel like winners” and that it is really the customers that decide the success of her business.
Ultimately though, with 27 years experience in the business and a great understanding of the expectations and needs of customers, it is fair to say that she earned her position as a finalist again this year.
Kim was incredibly grateful for the recognition saying, “I cannot say thank you enough to the people who voted for us. It is such a warm feeling to know that they appreciate and support our efforts.”
