French rom-coms are always a bit different, and Up For Love, fits that quirky mold to a tee. After chatting with Alexandre (Jean Dujardin), the man who has found her lost mobile phone, Diane (Virginie Efira) thinks she’s meet the perfect match she’s looking for and agrees to meet… only to discover he’s a mere 4ft 6” tall. He makes up for that with charisma and charm, and they begin a relationship. But can it survive the inevitable judgments of friends and family, not to mention the (ahem) obvious physical difficulties?
