Newtown designer dresses Logies winner
The Logie Awards get more and more glamorous every year with stars strutting the red carpet in a fabulous range of gowns. This year, local Newtown designer Jennifer Regan, was one of the talented Aussie designers to have their work shown off at the awards earlier this month; dressing a number of nominees including Natasa Ristic (Danger 5), Danielle Cormick (Rake/Underbelly Razor), Ella Scott Lynch (Underbelly Badness) and Marta Dusseldorp (Jack Irish: Bad Debts/Crownies), as well as Deborah Mailman – winner of the Most Outstanding Actress Award for her role in Mabo. Each dress in the Jennifer Regan Femme Fatale Red Carpet Collection is unique, and the deep green silk velvet worn by Deborah was imported from the UK especially for her custom made gown. Jennifer was excited to have six celebrities choose her red carpet gowns and said, “I designed these high end glamorous gowns specifically for such events and for women who need to make their mark, using rich colours and textures of imported Italian beaded silks and sequins, velvet and satins and ornate diamante embellishments we commissioned for the collection.”

Anyone interested in nominating their club or charity can do so by sending their details and outlining their club’s activities to: clubfunding@dmcchemmart.com.
