The inner west has a new gourmet pizza outlet with Divide 8 adding Stanmore to its outlets in Bronte and Gymea. Divide 8 is the brainchild of Peter Augoustis (former director of Crust and current owner of Li’l Darlin) and Jon Paul Partyka (former general manager of Crust). Divide 8 says its concept is “all about delivering high-quality pizzas to customers as quickly as possible”.
Their produce is sourced locally, and their ingredients, including dough, sauces, and marinades, are freshly made, cut and mixed daily.
Menu highlights include Miss Marg, with fresh tomato, buffalo mozzarella, and 16-month aged Grana Padano topped with fresh basil ($24), and the inner west-inspired Marrickville Mercedes, featuring lemon and garlic marinated lamb, heirloom tomatoes, Spanish onions and feta on an eggplant base, topped with golden peppers and fresh cucumber dill yoghurt ($28).
In support of their local community, the store has also partnered with Stanmore bakery Hearthe to feature their freshly baked sourdough as the base for their garlic bread, which is topped with whipped confit garlic butter and herbs ($12).
The menu also includes a range of value deals, including the Dinner Sorted Feast (2 pizzas, garlic bread and brownie bites for $60).
The family/pet-friendly micro-venue seats 20 diners indoors and out.
Divide 8 is open seven days a week from 4pm -9pm Monday- Thursday and 4pm-10pm Friday and Saturday.
