Woodstock opens its doors

Burwood Council in association with Palmer Events presents Woodstock Artisans Market is an exciting new market set in a restored 1871 heritage building, the Woodstock Community Centre, and its lush, spacious parklands.
Conveniently located close to Burwood’s bustling town centre, Woodstock Artisans Market provides an oasis of treasures and tranquility for the busy shoppers of Sydney’s Inner West. The Artisans Market showcases designers and makers of unique, handmade homewares, fashion, art, ceramics, jewellery and much more. Shoppers can fossick for those special gifts with a personal touch, all in the relaxing and beautiful surroundings of this long-hidden heritage gem.
A playground for children and surrounding picnic areas create an inviting space for families and busy shoppers to take time out in between wandering the stalls. There are also food traders and coffee on site.
Woodstock was built as a home in 1871 by Edwin Thomas Penfold, and changed hands numerous times before being acquired by Burwood Council. Based at 22 Church Street, this stunning site consists of the recently renovated, heritage-listed Woodstock Community Centre, Woodstock Park and the newer addition of Fitzroy Hall.
Entry to the Woodstock Artisan Market is free. Disabled parking is available and Disabled access is provided at Woodstock Community Centre.
