JP Gauntlett, 23, is a self defence teacher at the newly opened Gauntlett Self Defence in the Rozelle Neighbourhood Centre.
This cheeky blonde describes himself as “awesome and shouty” but says if you really want to know what he’s like you should come to a class and find out! JP has been teaching Martial Arts for over three years now and has loved every minute of it. His ambition is to teach the
most realistic and accurate self defence classes possible, to give people a physical and emotional toolbox that can help them in any confrontation, whether physical, emotional or just within their own head. JP’s classes focus on the self defence/ fitness side of things, teaching Tony Blauer’s SPEAR system.
