Tuckerbox

Relax in an old rustic barn while trying the Show’s new and unique food offerings including big smokers, fire pits and roast pork at Cathy Freeman Park. With loads of seating and shade, the Tucker Box will be the perfect spot to relax and enjoy a tasty meal!

Clydesdale Country

Taking you back in time, come and visit a classic Clydesdale village where you can uncover the secrets of wheelwrighting, watching one of two wheelwright specialists left in Australia demonstrate the fine art, meet and greet the Clydesdale horses and watch as they miraculously generate power!

Farm of the Future

Come and check out the newest innovations in agriculture. Brought to you by the University of New England, discover how robotics, drones and virtual reality are shaping agriculture. You’ll leave thinking you’ve just stepped off the farm with the Australian Lamb Paddock to Plate Story – a 360 degree immersive virtual reality experience.

Little Hands on the Land

Little Hands on the Land is a child-sized working farm designed to teach littlies agriculture from crop to shop. The children journey through nine stations where they collect produce to take to market. Once there, they trade it in for ‘farm dollars’ which can be spent at the supermarket.

Jurassic World Animatronic Dinosaurs

Some of this years highlights and new things to make a bee-line for include:
Step back in time 165 million years as you make your way through Jurassic World 2 – The Fallen Kingdom. With more than 30 animatronic dinosaurs coming to life to thrill and delight, plus fossil displays, this is one walk on the dino-side you’ll never forget.

Rides & Kids Carnival

The Show has the biggest collection of rides in Australia, and one of the best collections of rides you’ll find anywhere in the world. This year’s Show presents three new rides including the Race O’Rama car ride, the Fiesta Balloon Ferris Wheel, where the whole family can take a seat in the basket and float up, up and away, and the Enchanted Circus, an interactive fun house of your dreams. There’s also a kids’ street area, full of cheap activities for tiny tots, including an ice skating rink and ice slide!

Sesame Street and Hello Kitty at Little Big Top Amphitheatre

Join Sesame Street’s special guest Elmo and Hello Kitty characters as they take the stage at the Little Big Top Amphitheatre, singing and dancing to some of their favourite songs! The cutest kitty in town is making her debut at the Show and promises to teach you all her dance moves – and don’t forget to hang around for meets and greets! Multiple sessions on daily.
