The Rubens

I still can’t decide whether I even really like The Rubens (pictured). But I find myself thinking it might be pleasant to go to their show (the last remaining show with tickets still available), dance around and maybe pick up a cute indie boy or something. Forty dollars well spent.

The Reverend Horton Heat + Mojo Juju

I’m in no way uncertain about this one – it’s going to be steaming hot. The support act, Mojo Juju, are personal favourites of mine and they literally just keep getting better. Smokey blues with attractive musos, what could be better? I’ve not seen the Reverend Horton Heat but by all accounts they produce seriously good time.

I Can’t Believe You Wore That – Footsie and The Psychos + Bandintexas + Gabby Dever

This one’s a benefit, raising money to support the White Ribbon campaign to end violence against women, and if you don’t support that, you’re an asshole. It’s dress up, there are drinks and canapes included in the price, and there’s music and good times. Get into it.
