Luis and the Aliens tells the story of an 12-year-old boy, Luis, who makes friends with three awkward little aliens who crash their little spaceship near his house. In return for Luis’ help in finding the home-shopping channel stuff they came down to Earth for, they save him from being sent to boarding school by an an officious school principal who suspects he’s being neglected by his single dad. A wild and exciting adventure starts where Luis and his friends from outer space try to reach the huge mothership to bring the aliens home. And perhaps Luis should just leave with them to get away from all his problems here on Earth… PG in cinemas from August 30. Local inner west cinemas include Dendy Newtown and Palace Norton Street.
