The Strata system, a way of handling the legal ownership of portions of buildings and structures, was first introduced in Australia in 1961. Titles Strata Management Pty Ltd’s history stretches back nearly as far, and in that time they have proved themselves a leader in the field.

How does it feel to be nominated as a finalist in the Local Business Awards?
It feels great being recognised in the community for the efforts we have made. We have been servicing Drummoyne and the Inner West Communities for over 40 years and have enjoyed the wonderful clients and rapports we have made along the way. This is the first time we have been nominated for the Inner West Local Business Awards, it was one of our employee’s idea to register us for this year and the support has been outstanding.

Do you have a message for the clients who nominated you this year?
We thank our clients for the support and hope to live up to their expectations. Our clients are always welcome to come down into our office for a chat because we are here to provide a personalised and best quality service to our customers.

Can you give us a bit of history about your company?
Titles Strata Management Pty Ltd was establish over 40 years ago in Drummoyne, with Janet Smith the original General Managers and Strata Manager. They called her the pink lady in the industry, due to her use of pink stationary and letterheads. In 1998 John Koprivnjak took over the company and our General Manager John Little joined us from BCS Strata Management in 2007, and we’ve had a steady growth of 10% per annum for the past 10 years! Our staff has also grown from 3 to 10 over this period.

What services do you offer at Titles Strata?
We offer Strata Management services for commercial, residential strata schemes, retirement villages and mixed schemes of retail and residential. We take pride in developing and improving the business on a yearly basis and training our people along the way.

What is the best piece of feedback you’ve received from your clients?
The best feedback that we have received is about our Professional Strata Managers. We have been told that our managers are “the BEST in the business”, “get things done fast”, are “very knowledgeable” and “like finding gold.” In an industry that can be chalk and cheese in service and professional delivery, our clients are grateful that their buildings are well maintained and look good in the street.
